中国産ドラゴンフルーツ・ドリアンが増加、ベトナムの輸出に危機
中国ではドラゴンフルーツとドリアンの栽培量が増加し続けており、ベトナムは供給過剰や価格暴落の危機に晒されている。
2月末、中国はドラゴンフルーツの生産量がベトナムの生産量を20万t上回る、年間160万tに達したことを発表した。
中国税関総署の統計によると、同国のドラゴンフルーツ需要は年間200万tほどである。また、ドリアンは2022年に約40億ドル（約5388億9600万円）相当の80万t以上を輸入している。

ベトナムは主要農産物の約9割を中国に輸出しているため、中国が農産物の自給率を向上させれば、同国市場へ輸出される主要農産物が供給過剰の危険に晒されることになる。
ベトナム税関総局の統計によると、同国産ドラゴンフルーツの90%は中国への輸出用である。
ビントゥアン省のホアンハウドラゴンフルーツ社のチャン・ノック・ヒエップ氏は、1日300コンテナ以上あった中国へのドラゴンフルーツ輸出が、100コンテナ以下まで減少したことを明らかにしている。

ベトナム青果協会のダン・フック・グエン氏はこうした状況を受け、国に対して栽培面積計画の改善やベトナム産ドリアンブランド確立に関する支援を要請したという。
中国は冬の間にドリアンを栽培することが難しいため、ベトナムはオフシーズンに果物生産を強化し、果樹農家や貿易業者も国内市場をさらに開拓する必要がある。
今年1〜2月のベトナムの果物・野菜輸出総額は、前年同期比17.8％増の5億9200万ドル（797億8414万円）に達した。
