収穫期で供給が豊富に、ドリアン価格が半額に急落

ベトナムではドリアンの収穫期が近づいて供給が豊富になったため、価格が約2ヶ月で半値に急落した。

南部のティエンザン省やロンアン省、ビンフオック省、ドンタップ省の農家は2月上旬に1kgあたり19万ドン(約1058円)であったRi6種ドリアンを、現在は7万5000~8万5000ドン(約418〜473円)で販売している。
 ティエンザン省ドリアン農家であるランさんはドリアン価格がさらに急落することを懸念し、7tのドリアンを7万5000ドン(約418円)で販売しており、カントー市のハンさんは低品質のドリアンを先月の半額である1kgあたり4万5000ドン(約251円)で販売した。

ランさんの予想によると、ビンフオック省とドンナイ省のドリアン収穫期が近づくにつれ、価格はさらに下落する。

輸出用に農家からドリアンの仕入れを行うVan Hoa社はサプライヤーから1日に20〜30tのドリアンを仕入れ、最高級品で1kgあたり9万5000ドン(約530円)、中級品で7万5000ドン(約418円)を提示しているという。

トレーダーによると、ドリアンの価格下落は収穫期が近づいて供給が増加したことが原因である。また、今後はランブータンやプラムといった他の果物の収穫が始まるため、ドリアンの魅力は半減する。

中部高原のドリアン農家が収穫を始める5月には更に価格が下落する可能性があり、夏にはタイ産やフィリピン産ドリアンとの競争に晒されることになる。

ベトナムのドリアン栽培面積は昨年末時点で政府の計画を47%近く上回る11万haに達し、ドリアン価格が高騰した今年1月〜2月には、南部や中部高原でコーヒーや胡椒、米などを栽培していた農家がドリアン栽培に切り替えていた。

また、周辺諸国では中国のドリアン需要が非常に高く、中国自身も国内需要に向けて海南島の93.3haでドリアンを栽培し、ラオス政府はベトナムのドリアン栽培面積の約27%に相当する3万haの農地を確保し、中国市場に向けたドリアン栽培に合意した。

フィリピンは1月に中国から生ドリアンの輸出許可を取得し、今年は5万4000tのドリアンを輸出する予定である。

ベトナム農業農村開発省は供給過剰を防ぐため、農家に対してドリアン栽培への一斉転換をやめるように勧告している。
